What exactly are your services ?

For an agreed upon price, TRASH-IT DISPOSAL SERVICES will remove non-hazardous waste as defined by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment. For Residential properties, this only includes items located in the garage, shed(s), or items placed/located outside on the property. For Commercial properties, this only includes the outside property for cleanup of garbage/litter or unwanted items.

What are your business hours ?

Monday through Friday                            9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturday                                                     BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Sunday                                                       CLOSED

What method of payment do you accept ?

Cash, Company Cheque or Personal Cheque.

What payment terms do you offer ?

Terms are COD.

Do you offer discounts ?

Either a Seniors Discount or Cash Discount is available.

Do you accept competitor’s coupons ?

Competitor’s coupons are always welcomed. Minimum full truck load applies.

What size is your vehicle for transporting trash ?

The truck is a 3/4 ton truck with a load capacity up to a full 5.3 cubic yards.

Is the company approved or licensed ?

The company is approved by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment .

What don’t you remove from a property ?

The following will not be removed due to the hazardous nature of these items. The company is not licensed to remove hazardous waste.

HAZARDOUS ITEMS NOT ALLOWED FOR REMOVAL/DISPOSAL:

Pool chemicals, paint, fertilizers, oil, gasoline, all types of pesticides, oil tanks, oil drums, all types of batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, all types of solvents/additives/antifreeze, all types of household cleaning products, railway ties, animal and human waste, syringes, all types of propane tanks empty or full.

It is recommended that you contact the City of Toronto Solid Waste Management Services if you have any questions pertaining to what items the City of Toronto is able to accept for disposal.

Are there any non-hazardous items you don’t dispose of ?

Items located inside the house or in the basement which require more than one individual to remove due to the weight and size of the item(s) listed below:

Refrigerator, freezer, washer, dryer, bathtubs, couches, sofa beds, credenzas, rear projection wide screen televisions

Items that are located outside of the home that won’t be disposed of include:

Full truck load of dirt/sand, grass/sod, boulders/rocks/pebbles, roofing shingles, hot tubs.

NOTE: ITEMS LONGER THAN THE TRUCK BED WILL NOT BE TAKEN.
